What Happens if a Customer Disputes a Charge or Files a Chargeback?

If a customer files a dispute or chargeback on a Truemed order, we handle the process on your behalf.

Here’s What Happens:

  1. Truemed is alerted by Stripe when a dispute is filed.

  2. Our team contacts your support representative to gather order details or communication history.

  3. We work directly with the customer to resolve the issue or submit evidence to Stripe to contest the dispute.

If the Dispute Is Lost:

  • The disputed amount is automatically deducted from your Stripe payout.

  • There is no separate invoice or manual repayment process required.

  • Everything is handled through Stripe’s standard dispute resolution flow.
