What Is Manual Capture?
Manual capture is a Shopify setting that allows merchants to authorize a charge but delay the actual capture (or collection) of funds until later. Some merchants use this for preorders or custom workflows.

How to Check Your Capture Settings:
Go to your Shopify admin
Navigate to Settings → Payments → Payment Capture Method
If set to “Automatically capture payment for orders,” you are all set.
